Kennethmont Toddlers
It’s a shame to start this on a sad note but I must begin with a couple of goodbyes.  Two of our long-standing members are moving out of the area and away from the group.  We are very sad to lose Diane Hopkinson and her little boy Ethan and also Karen Mackay and her wee girl Emma.  We will miss you but wish you all the best whatever the future brings and hope that you stay in touch with the toddler group.

Although we may have lost some members we have also gained Sharon Stoneman and her boys Marley and Jules.  It is great to have them join our group.  We love having new members so please feel free to join us at the Rannes Hall on a Thursday morning between 9.30 and 11.30 am.

Since the last newsletter we have enjoyed a day out to Hoodles Playbarn where the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  The grown ups had a coffee while the children played and once we managed to tear them away from climbing steps, crawling through tunnels and whizzing down slides, we had lunch together.  Afterwards we all played outside in the summer sunshine.  These toddlers have boundless energy – they’re worse than the duracell bunny!!  It was another brilliant day out for both adults and kids with the Kennethmont Toddlers.

We had a sponsored toddle through the summer to raise funds in order to buy some new toys for the group.  We are so grateful for the support we had from those in the community and the friends and family of members who donated money towards the toddle.  Of course, well done to the toddlers, who did all the hard work and marched around the football pitch, raising a grand total of £150.

Kennethmont Toddlers would like to say thank you for the kind donation from those who organised the barbeque and ceilidh in the Rannes Hall.  We are putting it towards the cost of our new toys.  Any support from the local community is greatly appreciated as the group is largely run on the monies from the attendance of members.

We are organising a Halloween disco for Toddlers up to Primary 7 age.  There will be competitions for the best costume, treacle scones, bobbing for apples and some great music to dance to.  It will be on 31st October (bet you’d never have guessed!) at the Rannes Hall starting at 6 pm and finishing at 8.30 pm.  It is going to be great fun so please put it in your diary and come and support this event.

And, just to finish, I’ll give you a quick reminder about the Catchlight Photography session being held in Rannes Hall on the 23rd of October.  If you are interested then contact Pam on 01464 831572.
