The Building
The building is at least 170 years old. Originally, Noth Parish Church had no belltower. This was added in 1889, a gift from Mr. James Symon of Melbourne, Australia, who was born in Rhynie. In the same year, the building was extended, adding what now constitutes the main seating area of the church, with pews and balcony.

In 1990, floodlights were donated by the Community Council in celebration of the clock tower’s centenary.

The church boasts a magnificent pipe organ, built in 1899 by E.H. Lawton of Aberdeen, -the first one to which he put his name. Because of this historic importance, it was completely overhauled 100 years later at a cost of almost £10,000.
